The Treasure of the Kohl Rabi
Farmers markets have returned to the Rochester area, and with farmers markets come seasonal treasures like the delicious kohlrabi. Not the prettiest thing to look at, but they can be delicious when eaten raw, cooked in stir-fry's, or fermented. And ferment them I did, to bring you The Treasure of the Kohl Rabi!

The Towering Kimferno
Kimchi is back, and its been renamed The Towering Kimferno!
The task of keeping two kids under the age of 2 alive for the past 5 months has significantly slowed down my fermentation output, but when I came across some organic napa cabbages at Abundance Co-op last week I couldn't resist buying them.
