Licence to Dill

It's grilling weather, and few things go better on food off the grill than sauerkraut and dill pickles.  And when sauerkraut and dill combine you get Licence to Dill! 


The food is Kraut.  Dill Kraut.  Its like a secret agent sauerkraut pretending to be a dill pickle on a mission to land on a hot dog and delight your taste buds!  It also happens to have a label that looks strikingly similar to the James Bond movie Licence to Kill.

A fairly simple kraut, the ingredients are green cabbage, garlic, dill, ginger, and salt.  It's heavier on the garlic than the Jalapeno Hare, and won't stain your counter tops purple like L. Red Hubbard (damn you beets!).

And as much as I looked forward to it being ready and jarred, nobody was happier about that than my wife and her super sensitive pregnancy nose!  Turns out fermenting cabbage isn't her favorite air freshening scent.
